Malathi fills the back yard with clothes and boxes. Manjula and Parul convince Aastha to sit with Baa for the puja. Baa tells them that she will eat only the puja prasadh for the next fifteen days and chant the goddess name one lakh times every day, for Aastha's recovery. Vrinda encourages Virat and Aastha to become friends. Baa asks Malathi to bring her food. Vrinda sees Malathi cooking in the kitchen and helps her thinking that the food is for her. Malathi sneaks food into the outhouse for Baa. She rebukes Baa for switching off the tape while sleeping. Vrinda overhears their conversation and finds out that Baa has been using tape recorder to fool them with the chanting.
