Chili's Restaurant Recipes - Can You Copy Them?

Actual Chili's Restaurant recipes are hard to come by, especially since the chefs guard it with their lives. The reason for this is because Chili's has a very unique menu and set of flavors. They try to distinguish themselves from other places in the same price range like Chevy's, TGI Fridays, and Cracker Barrel by having a special taste. I'd say that they do a pretty good job of that, wouldn't you?

So how can anyone make what they have on the menu? Obviously, we all know about those professional chefs that sneak in, order popular items, bring them to their homes and deconstruct them. Then, they rebuild them and put the whole process back on YouTube for amateurs like you and me to copy and benefit from.

Now, while this can be very entertaining I think you'll notice something if you've ever tried this: You'll notice that the food doesn't taste the same. Now, that's not to say that it doesn't taste good, but it just doesn't taste the same as it does at an actual Chili's. This is about where everyone starts to give up. They figure, well, this is about as close as I'll ever come to making the food they have at Chili's.

That's not the case though. You can make the actual food, but you'd just need to get your hands on the exact recipe. That way, you're not making food that tastes close to it; you're making the actual food itself. Now, there are several cookbooks out there that claim to have this information, but there really only is one that contains the actual recipes, straight from Chili's (and several others, as well).
